I prefer to grow my tarragon in a large pot as it can get a bit ‘spready’. The plant will die down in winter. Cut it back as it goes into hibernation and it will erupt into leafy loveliness again in spring. Propagate from rooted runners. It’s lovely when used to flavour vinegars, and to impart a lovely flavour to chicken and fish. Well worth having this noble herb in your garden.
This plant is supplied in a 13 cm bio pot.
We can deliver this plant in George for free, and for a charge elsewhere in the southern Cape. We send plants by courier nationwide as long as recipients understand that there is risk of damage or failure in transit. Some plants are sent already potted, while others are supplied open rooted, and wrapped. As with all plants that travel in less than ideal conditions, please tend to your new plants as soon as you are able. Refresh them, plant them and enjoy them.
