Purple Flame produces thick-walled, juicy and crunchy fresh eating peppers that start off purple and mature to a reddish colour with some purple streaks. This is a very tasty pepper that will be perfect for salads, pizza topping, and oven roasting. Seldom do we find a variety that is both beautiful and produces a substantial harvest …  these are the perfect combo of everything you want. The fruit is slightly smaller than a normal bell pepper, but we have plants in pots producing 21 fruit per plant! The taste is similar to bell pepper, but the added colour makes it way better. This variety comes highly recommended as they are very reliable, easy to grow from seed and won’t disappoint in the looks, taste, and production departments.’
