JC Terblanche says: ‘The Indigo Rose tomato, with its enticing true purple fruit, has been developed, without genetic modification, to contain higher levels of anthocyanin. This is a very potent anti-oxidant with great health benefits. As a result, this eye-catching addition to your garden is both beautiful and very healthy! The fruit does take slightly longer to develop than other cherry tomatoes but Indigo Rose fills that window when other varieties are on their way out. The fruit has a perfect balance of great tomato flavours. When fully ripe the blossom end turns rose pink.’
