This variety is from Peak Week Pods. JC Terblanche says: ‘Cherry bomb peppers are named for their cherry/cherry tomato-shaped pods that vary from green to bright red. The pods can grow up to a golf ball-size. They are one the best peppers for stuffing but can be diced and used in any dish to brighten and zing it up a bit. The cherry bomb has a solid thick crispy skin with juicy flesh and a fruity taste. Don’t be fooled by their cute looks though as they do pack a punch and can catch you by surprise. They do not grow very big and can be planted in pots.’
