Chilli pepper: Hot Apple
R40.00 incl VAT
This variety is from Peak Week Pods. JC Terblanche says: ‘This pepper resembles a small apple, but don’t expect the same eating experience or flavour. Hot apples belong to the C. Annuum species, but the exact origin is unknown. The pods have large cavities and are ideal for stuffing as their spiciness is low and tolerable by most (5,000 SHU). Hot apples are good producers and easy to grow. Plants grow up to 70cm high.
