This variety is from Peak Week Pods. JC Terblanche says: ‘A beautiful and hard-to-find heirloom bean of German origin. The beans are mottled black or dark purple on a white background. The bushes grow vigorously and produce masses of pods. The beans can be harvested at a young stage or left to dry in the pod. This is one of the best yielding dry bean varieties I have grown and it is highly recommended.’
