This variety is from Peak Week Pods. JC Terblanche says: ‘What a beauty. Alaska has a very upright and erect growth habit with strong stems. Sowed in spring they will flower well into late summer. The attractive flowers are not pure white, but rather an off-white/ light yellow color. Not the same as other yellow marigolds and they do stand tall! The flowers lure you in to see if what you imagining is real. No garden is complete without some marigolds and apart from being very easy to grow, marigolds attract beneficial insects such as ladybugs, parasitic wasps, and lacewings which all prey on harmful garden insects reducing the amount of damaging insects found around your garden.’
