This variety is from Peak Week Pods. JC Terblanche says: ‘I think this is one of the coolest and easiest crops to grow and is a must try for all gardeners. It’s not certain from where strawberry popcorn originates, but some believe it to be a very old North American corn. The image and name are pretty self-explanatory and it’s almost unbelievable to think that there is something so strange out there. Stalks grow to about 1.6 m and produce a few cobs per plant. They mature earlier than other corn varieties. The dried corn pops into somewhat smaller white kernels with the best-tasting popcorn. Truly special and unique in every way.’
